“Ashton lodge, where do I even start!!
Well Natalie was the most amazing person! You ran our wedding day so beautifully! Kept us in line, dealt with issues from our suppliers! She honestly was amazing and without her we wouldn’t have had the best day! You will even see Natalie help with final touches and helping me get into my dress and shoes!
Not even the just on the days the build up, nothing was ever a problem with Natalie, she worked around our work schedules to get us in for meetings, answered any silly questions we had and just was reassuring from the get go! I could go on forever about Natalie!
However all the staff that was there on the wedding day Behind-the-scenes and front of house smashed it!!
Ian the Ops manager was bloody amazing also! We really had the most magical day ever !
You all worked so well as a team! Our guest also have come back and spoke so highly about the venue and all the staff. All vegetarians and my step mum was the vegan and they were so impressed with their food and all guest loved the food! 3 weeks on and it’s still one of the most talked about thing 😂 I don’t blame them! It was outstanding!
I could go on forever! I wish I could get married again just to come back, but I’m sure myself and my new husband will find a reason 🤪🤪

“We had our wedding here on 24th July and the whole day was perfect. From the moment we booked the venue to the end of the wedding day, Emma was on hand as and when we needed it. She guided us and helped us plan our special day. Emma went above and beyond to ensure all of our guests were happy, as well as ensuring we were happy too. The venue itself is magical. The food is incredible and all the staff were super helpful. I want to relive our wedding day again, we cannot recommend Ashton Lodge enough.
The bridal suite was just what I needed to get ready with my girls. We also had the relaxed menu meaning our guests were chefs for the day, and this went down a treat and everyone enjoyed it!”

Ashton Lodge Country House, is a licensed wedding, party and events premises so we can offer any combination of pay-bar, reception drinks and table wine.
The selection of drinks you offer your guests is entirely your choice. We can run a pay bar throughout the day and evening, alternatively, you can decide to pay for all your guests drinks. More often we will put together a ‘drinks package’ of reception drinks after the ceremony, wine on the table and a toast from our extensive cellar.
Serving drinks and creating cocktails is an art form that compliments any wedding, and can be mixed to suit your personality, a place or a theme.
Be it alcoholic or not, hot or cold, drinks served by the Ashton Lodge team are always a crowd pleaser and sure to get everyone in the mood for a party.

Myself and Michael got engaged In November and wanted to find a venue for a strict time period when Michael’s brother was over from Australia in 6 months time. Luckily we came across Ashton Lodge and noticed they used the same catering as my sister two years previous. The food at my sister’s wedding was stunning, and we knew having such a short amount of time to plan we could trust them. We fell in love with ceremony room and marque straight away (it was dark so hadn’t yet seen how lovely the grounds were) also the room where we got ready was just so special and I loved we could all get ready together there. Sarah was very helpful throughout the whole process always there to answer any questions we had big or small.
When it came to the day, I felt so at home at Ashton Lodge and we could decorate everything how we wanted and added our own special touches. Everyone commented on how lovely the venue was, and how wonderful the food was. Natalie was brilliant, calm but also completely ‘on it’ just the right combination to make sure the day ran well but kept us chilled and happy. The head of the bar (I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name) was excellent too. Everything was taken care off.
We loved our wedding at Ashton Lodge and would fully recommend this venue and their team to any couples looking.

Ashton Lodge is a quintessential English Edwardian house in the the most idyllic setting, something a little different. It has class but remains warm and friendly.
The day couldn’t have run more smoothly from moment we arrived until we all left the next morning thoroughly refreshed from a very relaxed sleep in a superb room and well fed with a traditional English breakfast.
The staff were discreetly ensuring all the bride and grooms wishes were carried out to perfection and were both professional and friendly too.
I think we would all love to do it again! Thank you all for the adventure!
Richard & Jan ColeOur daughter celebrated her wedding day at Ashton Lodge on 11th May. What an amazing venue. Lucy and Tom couldn't have wished for a better day. All the staff went out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect, even mowing the lawns on the morning of the wedding ensuring the grounds were immaculate. The marquee looked fabulous and the size of the venue was just perfect for hosting all their family and friends. The canapes and wedding breakfast were beautifully presented and were enjoyed by all. The overnight accommodation was excellent and guests appreciated the cooked breakfast the following morning. A special mention to Mel who was very welcoming and did a wonderful job of ensuring that everything ran so smoothly so all the guests had a very happy and memorable day.
